You Can Rent Whitehall Township Facilities
Need a place for a shower, party, picnic, or a reunion for your family or club? Check out the Whitehall Township Hall Meeting Room and the Township’s Pavilion. Both are located at 7644 Durham Road and are available for rent. Hall capacity is limited to 65 persons by the fire code and contains 8 tables that are 8’ long. The Pavilion contains 15 picnic tables and each table will seat 6 adults for a total of 90 people.
Rental cost of either facility is $50.00 and you can rent them both for $75.00. An additional $25.00 deposit is collected and is refundable, if there is no damage and the facility is cleaned by the renter. Both facilities are rented on a first come first served basis and the renter does not have to be a township resident. Call 231-893-2095 for availability and reservation information. You are welcomed to tour the facilities during regular business hours.
Hall
The Township Hall Meeting Room comes with modern kitchen facilities including: a refrigerator, a microwave oven, and a stove. The Township’s handicapped equipped restrooms, of course, are also included in the rented facilities.
Picnic Pavilion
The Pavilion, built by volunteers in 2005, has electrical outlets and lights, comes with a charcoal grill, and a drinking fountain with a faucet tap for supplying water. Modern bathrooms are available from 8:00 a. m. to 10:00 p. m.
Accompanying facilities include one of the area’s best playgrounds, tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, horse shoe pits, and basketball hoops. The township will be building phase one of a skate board park during the summer of 2010
